Heather is a Project Consultant and also heads up our Communications team. She has worked in event marketing, predominantly within the IT industry, for the past 21 years. She has extensive experience of the strategic planning and implementation of a diverse range of events as well as having had active involvement with building brand identities, procurement of event suppliers, negotiating partner sponsorship alliances and event evaluation programmes.
Previous high profile employers have included US based publishing company World Book International, Commodore Business Machines (UK) Limited, Microsoft UK and Microsoft EMEA. During her time with Microsoft UK Heather was responsible for organising a wide range of events including partner event programmes, multi-track conferences, high profile product launches and VIP visits.
In 1995 Heather took over the role of Events Group Manager for Microsoft EMEA. During this time she was responsible for managing a wide range of events, with a budget of approximately $9 million and a team of local, as well as remotely based, personnel. Throughout her time with Microsoft EMEA Heather was responsible for the planning and delivery of Tech*Ed Europe – Microsoft’s flagship event targeting the developer community.
Since leaving Microsoft in 1998 Heather has worked exclusively on the agency side where her client experience brings both objective balance and perspective when assisting with strategic planning activity.Overall, Heather is adept at managing and motivating a virtual team and is passionate about building event solutions that fulfil and exceed her client’s and their customers’ expectations.
